It has good corrosion resistance to atmospheric and local corrosion. These seamless tubes are ideal for processing of organic and inorganic acids. It is resistive to moderately reducing environments. It has high chromium content that offers excellent resistance to oxidizing solutions such nitric acids up to 176 degree F.

It also resists moderately aggressive organic acid like acetic acids.

Fabrication data:

Stainless Steel S30400 Seamless Tubes are readily weldable and processed by the standard fabrication process. It is hot formed in a temperature range between 1652- 2102 degree F. it is also preferred for hot working process. It has higher corrosion resistance due to the annealing process performed at temperatures 1900 degree F.

This grade is quite ductile and forms easily by most standard process. It is recommended for cold forming operations. This will increase the strength and hardness of the tubes also it leaves a magnetic effect.

The alloy is subjected to work hardening process.

The tests implemented are fatigue test, flexure test, hardness test, tensile test, destructive/non-destructive test, compression test, torsion test, creep test, PMI test, chemical test, and radiographic test. Other tests are intergranular corrosion test, pitting corrosion test, micro test, macro test, crushing test, and other tests demanded by customers.

Certificates:

Those are specification/ welding guide, Commercial invoice, fumigation certificates, NABL test report, MTC report as per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 and attested certificate by suppliers. Other tests certificates are raw material test report, mill test report, quality assurance plan, heat treatment charts, stamping details and custom reports.
