Product details:
It is the standard austenitic grade having the 18% chromium and 8% nickel content. Basically, this alloy is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. Somewhat magnetic properties are arrived by performing cold working operations. It is most used stainless steel grade due to its prominent features. These can be effortlessly welded by all standard welding process with and without filler materials. This grade is the mainly deep drawn, formed and spun because of its higher ductility.
In alloy 304H, H is meant for higher carbon composition. These are best for utilization in applications where higher temperatures are a concern. The main benefit of this austenitic chromium and nickel grade is high levels of carbon that increase its yield and tensile strength. This is recommended for higher pressure vessel in working temperature about 525 degree C.
Testing-
