Alloy 310 H is also known as UNS S31009 grade. It is a high carbon modified version developed for enhanced creep resistance. In most cases, the carbon content and grain size can meet both requirements of the grade. It has dual certified chemistry. It has higher chromium and moderate nickel content. It is mostly used in moderate carburizing atmosphere. These can be exposed to ruthless carburizing surroundings that are mostly utilized in the thermal process. These are utilized in slightly oxidizing, nitriding, thermal cyclic applications, and cementing applications.
It finds useful in cryogenic applications with moderate magnetic permeability and toughness down to -450 degree F. it is heated between temperature range between 650 to 950 degree C. these alloys are subjected to sigma phase precipitation. It is solution annealed between 2012 to 2102 degree F that will restore a high degree of toughness.
Stainless Steel 310H Seamless Tubes are designed for service in wet corrosive environments. The high carbon content improves its creep properties. This alloy is prone to intergranular corrosion in long term exposure at high temperatures. It is more corrosive resistive than just heat resisting alloys.
Testing and quality section:
We have trained personnel working continuously to provide high-class products. They have great good knowledge in the technical field and tooling. Each lot is gauged with quality standards in accordance with global standards. The tests performed by us are hydro testing, destructive/non-destructive test, intergranular corrosion test, flaring test, flattening test, Mechanical testing, hardness test, and tensile test. Some other tests are PMI test, micro, and macro test, chemical composition analysis, ultrasonic test, and radiography, pitting corrosion test and third-party inspection.
