Alloy 316 higher carbon variant. It is also known as UNS S31609 modified for service in high temperatures. This Stainless Steel 316H Instrumentation Tubes has higher strength in hoisted and moderate temperatures. It has higher carbon content delivers in higher tensile and yield strength. It has austenitic structure offers excellent toughness in lower temperatures. It is highly corrosive resistance to compare to traditional grades. it resists atmospheric corrosion in reducing and moderate environments.
These offer great service in polluted marine conditions. It is non-magnetic in nature after the annealing process. It is not hardened by heat treatment process; however, it is hardened by the cold working operations. These are fabricated by standard machines this cut-off its machining costs.
