Alloy 316l contains molybdenum that gives it enhanced corrosion resistance ability. Particularly, it is ideal for pitting and crevice corrosion in adverse environments. The “L” denotes low carbon version of 316 grade that is immune to sensitization. It has austenitic structure provides excellent toughness even at hoists temperatures.
Technical data:
The SS condenser tubes are readily fabricated from the machines associated with this grade. These are both hot and cold formed. To retain higher corrosion resistance ability it is hot worked temperatures between 1700- 2000 degree F. It is annealed continuously up to the temperature 1900 degree F. The grade is ductile in nature and forms easily. The cold working operations acquire its strength while avoiding embrittlement. Moreover, it gains magnetic properties after this operation. It is subjected to work hardening during the manufacturing process. These tubes are machinable with standard feeds, speeds and adequate cut depths.
Quality assurance program:
We have developed and implement stringent quality assurance program to serve prominent quality products. Whether the order is in bulk or small quantity, we tested the entire range. The tests are the tensile test, positive material identifications, hydro testing, vacuum test, Mechanical properties testing, impulsive line leak test, and ultrasound.
The featured tests are pneumatic leak test, hydrostatic test, chemical composition analysis, hydro testing, Pressure tests, sigma detention, macro test, destructive test, and hardness test. At last, third-party entities visualized the quality of production.
Product packaging
To deliver a damage free product standard packing methods are adopted, therefore the products are packed in wooden cases/ cartons/boxes and pallets.
