Alloy 316L grade is the standard molybdenum-bearing austenitic SS grade. The molybdenum content offers overall corrosion resistance properties. Its austenitic structure provides excellent toughness in lower cryogenic temperatures. It has higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking even in high levels of chloride environments. These are easily formable with the standard thermal process.

Alloy 316L is the low carbon version having higher resistance to grain boundary precipitation and sensitization. Stainless Steel 316L Seamless U Tubes are heat treated in temperatures between 1010- 1120 degree C. it has excellent resistance in atmospheric environments. These can be subjected to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments. It is ideal for chemical processing in organic and inorganic acids such as phosphoric acids, acetic acids, and other harsh chemicals. These are susceptible to chromium carbide precipitation.

Each and every fabricated lot is processed from testing procedures that assure product quality. the tests performed by us are hardness test, tensile test, positive material test, micro/ macro test, destructive/non-destructive test, chemical analysis, intergranular corrosion test, and flexure test. Secondary tests are proof load test, fatigue test, compression test, torsion test, creep test, drop weight test, mechanical test, flaring test, ultrasonic test, radiographic test, and pitting corrosion test.

Delivery norms:

In order to deliver damage free products to customers, we use standard packing materials. Stainless Steel 316L Seamless U Tubes are rolled in the bundles with additional end cap support that prevents from jerks and contamination.
