Alloy 347 is austenitic stainless steel alloy that is stabilized by columbium. It is having good corrosion resistance and is having better corrosion resistance at the strong oxidizing atmosphere. It too has high resistance ability to intergranular corrosion when get exposed to the temp ranging 800-1500 Deg F at chromium carbide precipitation. Also, it is having good creep strength and oxidation resistance at temp ranging 1500 Deg F and is having better low temp toughness. Talking about 347H alloy it is having high carbon and purpose of this alloy development is for the purpose of enhancing the creep resistance and greater strength.
